Instant Terra v1.3 now available
Wysilab has released Instant Terra v1.3 with several new features.
Import meshes
The Import from mesh node creates a terrain from an 3D mesh file. The mesh is transformed into a heightmap by computing a depth projection according to a viewing vector.

Graph explorer and Models window
Use the Graph explorer to browse all the nodes and resources in a project.

Sort the nodes by category or alphabetically, search them, and drag and drop them into the Graph editor from the Models window.

Improved erosion
We have improved the rock and hydraulic erosion nodes to get great results!

All relevant parameters can be driven by masks, for different effects on differents parts of the terrain.

The interfaces have been re-designed so users can access all the options they need through a simple series of sliders.
Enterprise edition improvements
Ultra-fast import process: After the first initial import, start working very quickly on your project any time you reopen it, even with GBs of input data.
Example with 16GB import: 3 minutes vs 6 seconds with the accelerated import before you can start working on your project.

API for integration in your pipeline: Use the simple, but complete Python API to automate the calculations and integrate Instant Terra PRO into your pipeline.

These features are not available in the trial edition. Contact us for a demo.
What's next?
Components: We're finalizing the components feature that provide a powerful way to create new nodes to use in the graph. Components can be re-used and shared among projects.

Multi-scale erosion: We're in the R&D phase of multi-scale erosion. An enormous potential with this feature! Watch this space...
