Title: Option to not delete backups
Post by: Danilo Nishimura on April 26, 2019, 07:49:33 PM
Hi,

Recently after a crash, I could immediately open the backup file and restore unsaved data, but I opened the original file to see how was the document the last time I saved it. I noticed it was some hours behind, and I decided to use the backup file. The problem is that it was gone.

I don't know what triggered the backup deletion, but I'd like to be able to say that I don't want the program to delete the backup files.

If possible, maybe, define how many backup versions to keep, how often a backup file is saved, and so on.

Hi,
sounds like a bug there indeed, backups should not delete in this case.
And yes, we could use some more options there.
Thanks for your feedback and suggestion.
