Title: Erosion bug (grid sampler issue)
Post by: S-ed on December 25, 2017, 11:28:52 PM
This is not actually a bug, but definitely a flaw.

This issue appears not only in Instant Terra but in other apps too (unfortunately not all devs care).

One more related bug.
Since Erosion calculated separately per 1024 chunk, fringes between those chunks appear (2048 by 2048 map has 2 seams in the middle).

Hi,
yes, the issue relative to the erosion following the axis is known and we plan to work on it indeed.
We have hope to find some solution to make it less visible.

About the fringe between 2 cells, we are curious to know about your data since we have worked on it and found it hard now to reproduce. Could you send your terrain projet to support@wysilab.com, so that we can investigate?

Thank you.

I think it's ok to just attach file here, it's nothing valuable there.
Maybe some other users would like to test it as well.
