Hi there,

I would like use raw files as input the same way other bitmap files can be used.

I know there are workarounds, like convert those raw maps to png or something else, but if we're able to send raw maps back and fourth between the editor and the engine, it would speed up our workflow.

When you have a predefined level design, and you want to put it on the terrain, sometimes you have to make adjustments to the terrain so it "embraces" the level without overlapping the level geometry.

It would be nice to bring the maps to the game engine, see what needs to be adjusted, make those small tweaks, and export it back to instant terra, so all other data such as normals and height based maps can be generated again.

We've added the RAW files as input in our backlog.

The RAW format is supported now since v1.6, July 2019.
